Music Scholars
Choral Scholars Program.
Requirements: Choral Scholars must be actively enrolled in a degree program at an area college or university. Scholars will become fully participating members of the Adult Choir at Canton First Baptist Church. Scholars must attend weekly rehearsal on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m., and Sunday morning worship from 10:45 a.m. - Noon. (There are 3 rehearsal and 3 worship service absences allowed for each semester). Additional activities include two evening concerts.
Payments of the scholarship will be made directly to the educational institution following each semester's participation (late December and late May).
The Choral Scholar application deadline for the 2019-20 Academic Year is Tuesday, August 14, 2019. You will be notified of your audition time once your application is received.
